MARDINI 2021

I took part in the SideFX MARDINI Daily Art Challenge (website), creating a new image or animation every day during the month of March 2021. There was a prompt each day, based on a different weekly theme, and artists had to create their submissions using Houdini products for all steps. There were various prizes to be won daily and overall, and artists who completed the full month received a goodie bag of Houdini swag.

The contest was an excellent way to ensure I did some personal Houdini work every day, although fitting it in alongside studio work and life was tricky! Nevertheless, I completed the full month and challenged myself to go beyond my usual comfort zone in Houdini, so I am very pleased with how most of my entries turned out.
